DR. KEVIN MILLAR – Plastic Surgeon

I completed my specialised training in plastic surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. This was followed by further plastic surgery training in the UK:

  • Saint Andrew’s Hospital in Billericay
  • The Royal London Hospital
  • Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital

I then took up a consultant post at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, followed by an aesthetic fellowship with Freddie Nicolle, the all-time top ranked British plastic surgeon, at the Harley Street Clinic – the UK’s leading cosmetic surgery practice.

After this I returned to Johannesburg and have been in private practice for over 20 years. I’m now based at the Cure Day Hospital in Fourways.

Qualifications and Professional Associations:

  • MBChB (UCT) FCS (SA) Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
  • Health Professions Council of South Africa
  • Member of the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of South Africa
  • Fellow of the College of Surgeons South Africa

“For me, plastic surgery is as much an art as it is a science. My goal is always a beautiful, natural result that improves the appearance, and therefore the self-esteem, of my patients.”
